During the annual United Way campaign held in November 2016, Smurfit Kwppa employees contributed a total of $20,660.92 to the Forney Area United Way. Another $1.000.00 was contributed to other United Way agencies in the area. All contributions were matched $1 for $1 by Smurfit Kappa.

WACO—On Friday, March 17, junior Katy Williams, senior Morgan Lowry, senior Bailey Crocker, and senior Cassidy Schubert represented Forney High School well at the Girls State Power Lifting Meet.
