When the City Council met to appoint boards and commissions June 30, City Council member Scott Regan moved to allow former Council member James Hatley to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission to fill a vacancy left by David Johnson, who was elected to the Council. That may not seem important, - Continued to page 9 - but to Judy and me, it was huge.
