Dallas Christian girls’ basketball team are back-to-back TAPPS state champs

For the second year The Dallas Christian Girls basketball team defeated Houston Westbury in a come from behind victory in the TAPPS State Championship game. This year the Chargers won by a score of 50 - 44 capping off a State tournament weekend at McMurry University in Abilene. Last season the DC girls defeated the same Houston Westbury team in overtime by 48 - 46.

Dallas Christian has 5 players on the team that are Forney residents. Seniors Addison Southers, Kaylee Rasbury, Carlie Jones. Sophomores Taylor Jones, and Tori Jones.
