On Tuesday, August 18, Mansfield Lake Ridge defeated Forney High School in straight sets by a count of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-21. It should be noted that Lake Ridge was a 5A playoff team last season.
DUNCANVILLE—On August 14-15, the North Forney Lady Falcon volleyball eam participated in the Duncanville Tournament of Champions. Overall, the team went 1-6 in the tournament.
FORNEY—On Tuesday, August 18, the North Forney Lady Falcon volleyball eam swept Richardson Berkner in straight sets by a count of 27-25, 25-18, 25-11.
GARLAND—On August 14-15, the Forney Lady Rabbits participated in he Garland ISD Varsity olleyball Tournament. or the record, the Lady Rabbits went 2-3 in the tournament.
Homecoming this year will feature the class which graduated in the spring of1965, but the school year actually took place quite a bit in 1964. In fact, all ofthe football season did!
