Rico wins regional men’s powerlifting title, advances to State Meet

On Saturday March 6, Forney High School senior Joseph Rico won the Region 3 Division 1 Power Lifting Championship in his 123 lb. weight class. So, he is now headed to Abilene and the State Power Lifting Meet for the 2nd time in his high school career. Notes: Rico also won the Regional Title and made it to State as a sophomore in 2013. To make it to the State Meet, a lifter must finish in the Top 2 of his weight class at the Regionaln Meet.
