Frisco Centennial edges past FHS in volleyball season opener

FORNEY (Monday, August 8, 2016)—In the 2016 season opener for both teams, the Frisco Centennial Lady Titan volleyball team defeated the Forney Lady Rabbits in what was a five-set thriller by a count of 25-27, 25-18, 25-20, 11-25, and 15-12. It also should be noted that this was the first night of the Richard Haynes era as Head Volleyball Coach at Forney High School. In the first set, Forney jumped out to a 14-8 lead, thanks to the strong play of Desiree Johnson (deveral kills) and Allison Hamsher (several kills and assists).
