Melinda Haynes, 55, passed away on August 25, 2016 in Rowlett, Texas. She was born on March 7, 1958. Melinda was a member of the First Baptist Church, Forney. She worked at TXU Electric for many years, as well as the Circle Grill. Melinda was a member of the Forney High School Class of 1976 and greatly enjoyed seeing everyone at the class reunions. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and baking, and putting puzzles together. She lived in Forney for most of her life and had recently moved to Terrell. Melinda will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by husband, Charles Frank Haynes; her parents, Mack (a WWII veteran) and Maggie Loraine (Brooks) Nash; her brother, Mark Allan Nash; and her stepdaughter, Pamela Ann Haynes. Survived by son, Johnathan Haynes of Forney; stepdaughter, Trista Haynes and husband Joseph Albers; grandchildren, Tristan and Kenzie Rae Albers of The Colony; sister-in-law, Mary Spykes and husband Buddy of Odessa; many cousins and extended family; many friends; and her beloved dogs, Darma Jean and Maggie Mae. A funeral was held for Melinda on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 2 pm at Anderson Clayton Bros. in Terrell, Texas with a visitation two hours prior.
