Last week, the Forney High School JV tennis team went to Carrollton for their first match of the year. The Varsity team, pictured here, are shown greeting their opponents from Creekview High School on Friday. They earned 8 points at their first home game while Creekview earned 11. The varsity team also shut out the South Garland team 17-0 on Monday. The JV team has a bye this week.

Brad Fenter began his tennis career in his hometown of Vernon, Texas, where he won a State Championship in Mixed Doubles. Fenter then attended the University of Texas at Tyler. As a Patriot, Fenter was a four-year letterman during some of the most successful years in program history.
