Jesse W. Akin, formerly of Forney, passed away Feb. 21, 2014 in Wichita Falls, TX. He was born November 3, 1914 in Poetry, TX and had been in the Real Estate Business in Forney, Texas for over 34 years. He served in the Air Corps during WWII as a pilot and was a member of the American Legion and The Hump Pilots association. Jesse is survived by a number of nephews and nieces as well as a host of friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Presbyterian Manor and Hospice of Wichita Falls for their care and support of Jesse during his final days. Funeral ser vice will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 27 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Chapel with military honors. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. to service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be given at www.andersonclaytonterrell.com.
