New Council member takes oath of office

District Court Judge Casey Blair administered the oath of office to newly appointed City Council member Cory McGee in a short ceremony just prior to the City Council’s Dec. 15 meeting. McGee now occupies the seat in Place 1 on the Council, which was rendered vacant by the recent resignation of Darrell Hobbs, who has moved outside the city limits.
