Ruby Wiser Roland

Ruby was born to Frank L. and Ethel Eudy Wiser on June 23, 1929 in Markout, Texas. She attended Kaufman County Elementary Schools – Markout and graduated from Forney High School in 1946.She married Bernace Roland on July 4, 1947. Being a house wife/farmer’s wife she also went to work in 1965 at Doctor’s Hospital in Dallas, retiring after 30 years. Ruby was a member of the First Methodist Church in Forney where she was a member of the United Methodist Women, serving on the Bereavement Committee for several years. She taught children’s Sunday School and helped with vacation bible school. Ruby enjoyed working in her yard and flowerbeds, feeding and watching birds in her yard, decorating for Christmas and cooking meals for her family on Sunday nights. Ruby passed away June 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank L. and Ethel Eudy Wiser, her husband Bernace Roland, sisters Lena Daniel and Inez Guynes, brothers Newt Wiser, Clifford Wiser, Frank Wiser, Jr., and Melvin Wiser. She is sur vived by her sonJimmy Roland and wife Kathy of Forney, daughter Linda Bryant and husband Ned of Forney, grandchildren Kimberly Harrison and husband Brandon of Denton, Jarod Roland and wife Lauren of St. Louis, Mo, great grandson Asher Harrison, nieces and nephews.
