City Council reaches new contractual agrement with Luminant

FORNEY, TX – During the August 16 City Council meeting, the Forney City Council announced that it had reached a new agreement with Luminant, formerly known as FPLE Forney, LLC, concerning the ongoing annexation plans. This new agreement, brokered by Mayor Rick Wilson, Mayor Pro-Tem Ray Stephens and Councilmember Scott Regan would supply an additional $1.26 million more than the City would receive under the existing agreement along with a one-time contribution of $400,000.
