AN OLD FRIEND, A NEW FRIEND

When I was growing up, the old Arcadia Theater in Floresville, Texas was pretty much the center of my entertainment universe. In those days you could see a movie, have a Coke, popcorn and a pile of candy for four bits. For those too young to know how much that is, it is fifty cents…. like the rapper. The Arcadia was owned by the Dzuik family there in Floresville. About the time I went into high school, the Dzuik’s oldest son and my friend, Reagan became the projectionist.
