Jackrabbit men’s soccer team opens 2017 season with Jackrabbit Classic Tourney

FORNEY—On January 5-7 the Forney Jackrabbit men’s soccer team hosted and played in the 14th annual Jackrabbit Kickoff classic Tournament. The teams at the tournament this season were Longview High School, Richardson Pearce, Forney High School, Rockwall High School, Rockwall Heath, North Mesquite, West Mesquite, College Station High School, Royse City, Longview Pine Tree, Cedar Park, Sulphur Springs, Texarkana Texas High, Garland Lakeview Centennial, Amarillo Tascosa, Carrollton Newman Smith, and Mesquite Horn. Note: Most of these schools made the playoffs last season.
