Lady Rabbit volleyball team wins Garland ISD Tournament

GARLAND—On August 11-13, the Forney Lady Rabbit volleyball team won the very competitive Garland ISD Tournament. Overall, the team went a perfect 7-0 in the tournament. On their journey to the championship, Forney defeated several playoff teams from last season including Mesquite Horn (6A), Rowlett (6A), Sulphur Springs (5A), Carrollton Newman Smith (5A), and Prestonwood Christian from Plano, Texas (TAPPS).
