Forney bows out in bi-district

On Monday, November 4, a powerful Frisco Lady Raccoons team swept Forney out of the playoffs in straight sets by a count of 25-8, 25-12, 25-16. With the win, Frisco, the 2nd place team in District 9-4A, improves to 35-6 overall. Forney sees its fine season end at 26-12. Frisco is also currently ranked 17th in the State by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. This Frisco has many weapons and they could go a long way in the playoffs. In 2012, Frisco advanced to the Regional Finals before falling to eventual state champion Lovejoy.
