Lady Falcons win 1-game playoff vs. The Colony

PLANO—On Friday, May 13, the North Forney Lady Falcon softball team won a one-game regional quarterfinal playoff vs. The Colony High School by a count of 7-1. This is the third straight season that the Lady Falcons have knocked The Colony High School out of the softball playoffs. With the win, North Forney improves to 29-7 overall on the season. The Colony ends their season with a 24-8 overall record. Also, with this win over The Colony High School, these Lady Falcons have matched the 2014 team for most victories in a single softball season with 29. The Lady Falcons will now advance to the regional semifinals for the third straight season. Their opponent will be state-ranked Lufkin High School. The Lady Panthers are the District 16-5A champions and they will enter the regional semi-final series with a 34-3 overall record.
