Barrientos, Garcia medal at State Cross Country Meet

ROUND ROCK—The Forney ISD was well represented again at the State Cross Country Meet. Individually, Forney High School Junior Lauryn Barrientos ran very well and she ended up being rewarded with the Bronze Medal for finishing 3rd in the 5A women’ss race. Also, North Forney senior Kyle Garcia finished up his high school cross country career by finishing 5th in the 5A men’s race. For his fantastic race, Kyle was honored to receive another medal in recognition of a top 10 finish. Last year, at the State Meet, he finished 7th.
