Barrientos captures silver at state track meet

Forney’s Lauryn Barrientos captures two silver medals at the state track meet. From left to right are: Head Varsity Women’a Track Coach Sandy Cook, senior Lauryn Barrientos, and Assistant Women’s Track Coach Lauren Watts. Barrientos took 2nd place in the 3200M and 1600M Runs and in the process set two Forney High School running records. She has also committed to run at Texas A & M.
