City’s bond rating is upgraded

During the City Manager’ report at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting, Brian Brooks announced that the city’s bond rating had been upgraded to AA- by Standard & Poor. The AA- rating is a great benefit to the city of Forney. It helps when financing and paying off bonded indebtedness because it lowers the city’s interest rate on bonds.
