FPD investigating local armed robbery

Criminal Investigations Forney Police Department On Monday, July 7, 2014, the Schlotzsky’s restaurant located in Forney was robbed at gunpoint. The incident happened at around lunch time at approximately 12:30 p.m. while customers were inside eating. The armed suspect acted like he was going to make a purchase and waited until the clerk opened the cash register drawer. He then pulled out a handgun and proceeded to commit the robbery.
