FPD to offer citizens police academy course in 2017

The Forney Police Department (FPD) will soon be offering a Citizens Police Academy beginning in the spring of 2017 for Forney residents (we need to determine if this will be offered to only residents). The FPD is currently in the process of developing a one-of-a-kind class that will give residents a unique, hands-on experience of law enforcement practices such as recruitment, training, narcotics.
