Forney High U. I. L. academic teams move on to District Meet

Last week’s article wrapped up the “pre-District” competitions with reports of great successes. This week’s account details the District University Interscholastic League Meet, held March 20-22. The District Meet was held at Highland Park High School and basically involved the same eight teams of our U. I. L. District that had participated in football, basketball, band, etc. Forney High School placed 3rd over-all out of a field of these eight teams. 1st and 2nd went to Highland Park and Carrollton Creekview respectively.
