Local elections are approaching. It’s time to get ready
with Cary.
On May 10, voters in the city of Forney and in Forney ISD will go to the polls in annual local elections. In the 2014 city election, voters will be returning unopposed incumbents—Darrell Hobbs in Place 1 and Robbie Powers in Place 3. But in Place 5, there are two contenders. Incumbent Council member Mary Penn is facing first-time challenger Sara Gresham Parker.
