“Little Flock”—Have you ever visited this slice of Forney history?

When I was a boy in Forney, Texas, I would hear folks talking about “Little Flock,” either as a place they attended or as a navigational point to direct someone to other locations or buildings. And when I was old enough to venture out alone, exploring our town on my bike, I often passed the building on one of my “round-a-bout” trips to Thomas or Ford Grocery/ Gas Station, where I would sometimes pause to buy a “bottle of pop,” as my Grandpa always called the beverage.
