I was browsing the shelves of an “antiques/collectibles” store the other day and saw some old items that had advertisements of their prices when they were new. I collect “pop” bottles (soda) and saw several that I had enjoyed as a young boy in Forney when my Grandpa and I would walk to town and visit with “Marvin,” “Dick,” “George,” and “Jack” (Feagin, Farmer, Venner, and Pippins) at their gas stations and grocery stores.
