The City’s Public Works Department consistently aims to improve the quality of life for residents, while providing efficient and excellent customer service. Most residents are aware of the Public Works Department, but might be unaware of its responsibilities. The department is held responsible for the maintenance of City streets, water and sewer system, signs, and drainage within the City.
