FHS cheerleaders bring home National Championship in Time Out Cheer event

The Forney High School cheerleaders competed at the National Cheerleaders Association High School National Championship on January 23 and 24. The team, made up of 39 athletes and 9 drum line members, competed in 4 different categories over the two days. One day included the Game Day competition that encompassed 3 divisions; Time Out Cheer, Fight Song and Time Out Dance. The National Champion is determined there by an overall average of all 3 scores.
