TVCC recognizes Forney students as ‘Leaders of Tomorrow’

Trinity Valley Community College’s Iota Alpha chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society held its 12th annual Leaders of Tomorrow conference and awards Saturday, September 24 on the Athens campus. Area high schools were asked to submit three senior class leaders from each school to receive the honor, and a total of 81 students were recognized. TVCC PTK members conducted a leadership seminar and fun team-building activities to help students add to the list of honors to include on resumes and/or scholarship applications. Students recognized included six from Forney: Jacob Bliven, Kaitlyn Lawrence and Madison McQueen of Forney High School and Zaria Palmer, Alex Turk and Kelly Yang of North Forney High School.
