TVCC SBDC receives $10,000 grant from Forney EDC

The Forney Economic Development Corporation recently delivered a $10,000 grant to the Trinity Valley Community College Small Business Development Center. The grant will be used to offset various expenses of the SBDC as it continues to expand its presence in Forney. FEDC and Trinity Valley SBDC often work together to encourage economic growth in Forney by advising prospective entrepreneurs and expanding existing businesses. SBDC services are no fee and confidential. Accepting on behalf of Trinity Valley Community College were Dr. Jerry King, President; Mr. David McAnally, Associate Vice President for Workforce Education; Michael Ellsberry, TVCC SBDC Director and Jennifer Johnston, TVCC SBDC Business Advisor. Warren Ketteman, Executive Director of the Forney EDC made the presentation.
