“It’s about that time!”

It’s about that time!” That’s the sentence that was my clarion call as Mom woke my sister and me up on the first day of my second-grade year. The call was something of a shock  to my system after aroundthree months of relaxed, un-regimented summer vacation. On school days around our house, the parental reveille was sounded promptly at 7 a. m.  his coming Monday, ug. 24, Forney students will get their own unaccustomed wake-up call as classes resume in Forney for another school year.
