Three Rights Make a Left

The first time Lori and I tried to go to Yosemite National Park was over 15 years ago. We intended to do the “Big Three” and go through Sequoia, King’s Canyon and Yosemite on the way from San Diego to San Francisco with our kids. We were in our 1996 Pontiac Tran Sport maroon van. The van that looked like a big dust buster. Our plan was foiled, however, when the engine all but gave out on the way up the mountain in Sequoia Park and we had to turn back. A few months ago we did get to finish the first two legs of that dream trip when we visited Sequoia and Kings Canyon. However, we didn’t have time to see Yosemite…until today.
