GOD has not left anything for mankind to do to get on the road to Heaven. Jesus came to earth and did everything GOD required to pay the sin debt of all people. GOD knew that if He left anything in our hands, we would not be able or willing to do it. Suppose GOD had said, everyone who will chop down one tree will be saved. First of all, some people do not have arms so they would be left out.
