GOING THROUGH THE BIBLE Genesis Chapters 23 and 24

Sarah, Abraham’s wife, lived 127 years and died while they lived in the land of the Hittites. The land where they lived had not yet become the home of the Israelites. Abraham needed a place to bury Sarah where he lived. He went to the Hittites and requested that they sell him a place to bury her. The Hittites counted Abraham a prince of GOD and wanted to give him the land to bury her but Abraham insisted that he would pay for it. He paid the owner and buried Sarah there.
