Local Cubs visit San Jacinto battle site, spend night on Battleship Texas

On Saturday, April 19, Cub Scouts from Pack 1857 in Forney and Pack 1809 from Grand Saline, along with other family members, descended on Houston. The purpose of the visit was to see the San Jacinto Battlegrounds and spend the night aboard the Battleship Texas. The two scout groups planned this adventure last year while on a camp-out in Forney.
