Big-time shot by Jackson Ennels carries North Forney past Lovejoy

FORNEY (Tuesday, January 31, 2017)—Let me set the scene here for you. North Forney and Lovejoy were playing a huge District 15-5A game. In the final seconds, the game was tied at 55-all and North Forney had the ball with a chance to win. The Falcons got the ball to Jackson Ennels and he delivered under pressure by draining a long 3-point buzzer-beating shot which gave his team a thrilling 58-55 victory.

With the victory, North Forney improves to 15-9 overall and 7-3 in District 15-5A play while Lovejoy falls to 6-4 in District action.

This win was also very important because now North Forney has won both of their District games over Lovejoy this season which gives them the tie breaker edge in playoff scenarios. Finally, this win virtually assures North Forney that they will be making the playoffs for the 4th time in the last six seasons.
