Mike Burger

Funeral ser vices for Mike Burger, 65, of Wills Point, formerly of Forney, were held Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Mark Elliott officiating. He passed away Friday afternoon, Februar y 20, 2015, at his residence in Wills Point. Mike was born August 6, 1949, in McKinney, Texas, the son of Harvey Claude Burger and Lillian Ford Burger. He was raised in McKinney, where he graduated high school. On April 12, 1979, he married Beverly Chandler in Rockwall. Mike was a former police officer for the Forney Police Department for thirty years, retiring on June 26, 2011. He enjoyed fishing and building radio controlled airplanes. Mike lived in Forney prior tomoving to Wills Point thirteen  years ago. Preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Burger, of Wills Point; son, Christopher Chandler, of Addison and a brother, Bobby Burger & wife, Renee, of Irving.
