Charles Edward “Eddie” Elliott, 57, of Forney passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 in Rowlett. Memorial service was held 2 pm, Monday, September 26, 2016 at Goggans Funeral Home Chapel. Eddie was born October 12, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Charles Ivan Elliott and Mary Lee Boshears Elliott. He retired as manager of a restaurant. He loved his family dearly and will be dearly missed by them and all that knew him. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Evelyn Elliott of Forney; Daughters: Crystal Sanders of Mabank; Michelle Elliott of Isanti; Barbara Elliott of Brooklyn Center; Schawnette Merchant of Royse City; Shirley Chandler of Able Springs; Angela Merchant of Royse City; Sons: Terry Burt of Venus; William Merchant and wife Crystal of Quinlan; Jef f Merchant and wife Judy: Grandchildren Dakota and Cheyenne Sanders, Thomas and Dakota Elliott, Earl and Adelynn Hamilton, Mackenzie and Sawyer Bryner, Aubrey and Baylin Burt, Ricky Lopez, Blake Mosely, Cheyenne Mosely, Colton and Baylee McClain, Allie Merchant, Heaven Rickman, Charlie Merchant, Aubrey Chandler, and Lyric Merchant; One great grandchild, Vannettra Elliott; Sisters, Wynona Monds, and Sally Thorn; Brother, Frank Dugan. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home.
