James “Skeet” Newton Stewart

James “Skeet” Newton Stewart was born on July 16, 1935 and passed away on February 28, 2017. James is preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Nova “Dutch” Stewart; former wife and mother of their children: Nelda Jane Stewart; brothers: Robert Stewart and Walter Stewart; sister, Dolly Watkins and great grandson, Jayson Grady Stewart. James is survived by his loving companion, Ouida Smith; children: Madonna Stewart Kearney and husband Rick, Grady Stewart and wife Lisa, Lyn Stewart and wife Cyndra; grandchildren: Amber Lazard, Shannon Hall, Grady Stewart, Brittany Stewart, Cole Stewart, Lee Stewart; great grandchildren: Mason Kemp, Konner Kemp, Bree Hall, Harleigh Prather, Addison Prather, Brooklyn Stewart, Grady Stewart; sister, Sheila Patten; numerous nieces and a host of extended family and friends. A visitation for James will be on Friday March 3, 2017 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. Funeral Service will be on Saturday March 4, 2017 at 3:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney, Texas.
