Glenn L. Griffin

Glenn L. Griffin, age 77, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his home in Forney, Texas. Glenn was born in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Forney High School where he found his love for baseball. He was a coach and mentor to many as well as being a baseball player himself. He served in the Army while stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington and retired from the Forney Independent School District. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Rober t E. Lee Griffin and Emilee Griffin, his brother, Lynn Roy Griffin, and sisters, Gladys Hanson and Frances Todd. He is survived by his brother, Robert L. Griffin and wife Elaine, sister, Billie Jo Stovall, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A Graveside Ser vice was held at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, Texas on Thursday April 23, 2015 at 1:15 p.m. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.andersonclaytonterrell.com.
