Mesquite Horn sweeps Forney in straight sets

MESQUITE — On Tuesday, September 2, the Mesquite Horn Lady Jaguars swept the Forney High School Lady Rabbits in straight sets by a count of 25-15, 27-25, and 25-19. With the win, Mesquite Horn improves to 17-8 overall while Forney falls to 14-8-1. This is the 2nd time in four days that Forney and Mesquite Horn have played against each other. The season series between the two teams is now even at 1. On Saturday, August 30, Forney beat Mesquite Horn in the quarterfinals of the Forney ISD Tournament.
