Quilt goes to wounded DPD officer

Members of the Kaufman Quilt Guild made a “DPD Back the Blue” quilt that was planned and organized by Vice President Cindy Tramel. It was presented to Corporal Bryan Shaw at their Tuesday night, October 4 guild meeting (it happened to be their annual Halloween party, thus the costumes). Corporal Shaw, an El Centro College policeman, was shot in the stomach in the ambush in Dallas on July 7 and showed great courage and bravery in battle.
