No power, no sleep makes for a dull day
with Cary’
As we all know, Monday night was a stormy one across North Texas. Obeying a long-standing precaution I practice whenever there’s the threat of severe weather, I unplugged the electronic devices that would be most likely to suffer a power surge caused by lightning. I went to bed in relative security, even though I halfway expected that there would be a power failure sometime during the night.
