On Wednesday, you, the members of the Forney High School and North Forney High School Classes of 2016, passed from high school to a wider experience of life. Take it from one who was in your position 54 years ago: Your challenges are just beginning. I don’t want you to be as in the dark about those challenges as I was at the beginning of the summer of 1962. Life is a series of adjustments that don’t end even after you make your first adjustment to college, trade school or work. In fact, life challenges often become more complex as you get older.
