Robot athletes: Private, public school students compete for regional honors

Until last Saturday, Oct 31, I’d never seen a robotics competition and I had only a vague idea of what such contests were all about. But my ignorance came to an end when I accompanied Darrell Grooms of Forney, whose son, Will, is a freshman at The Fulton School in Heath, to the 6th Annual Lions Pride B.E,S,T. (Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology) Robotics Competition.
