Lady Rabbit track team wins Area Track Meet team title

DALLAS (Jesse Owens Memorial Athletic Complex)—On Thursday, April 23, the Forney Lady Rabbit track and field team won the District 11 5A and 12-5A Area Track Meet by the narrow margin of just one point over Rockwall Heath—99 points to 98 points. Just as in any team title, everyone contributed and had an impact on the outcome. As my Dad took a team photo after the meet, the victorious smiles on the girls’ faces celebrated a job well done.
