Slowed, but not stopped

Forney and other area residents who drive regularly along U. S. 80 and under the Forney Gateway bridge project have noticed a stoppage in construction. But the stoppage is temporary, according to City of Forney Assistant City Manager Gina Nash. Work on the access ramps and spine roads has been slowed because of adverse weather conditions, Gina told the Forney Messenger Monday afternoon.
