Last Sunday evening, the Forney Education Leadership Foundation held its 2014 donor and student recognition banquet at the Allure restaurant in Chandler’s Landing, Rockwall. This year’s banquet marked the organization‘s 10th anniversary. The Forney Education Leadership Foundation had its inception in 2004 after a small group of influential Forney businessmen realized that more needed to be done locally to recognize outstanding student achievement and to help students realize their dreams of attending college.
