FHS women’s golf takes 2nd in 12-5A district tourney

The Forney Lady Rabbits’ varsity golf team captured 2^nd place in the District 12-5A Golf Tournament at Waterview Golf Club in Rowlett and qualified for Regionals in Rockwall—From left to right: Miranda Coronado, Alyssa Najera, Madison Horton, Kinley Coplin, and Kayte Isbell. Horton was also the District 12-5A varsity women’s champion. An account of their victory is included in an article about the FISD golf teams that appears in “This Week in Sports” in this issue.
