Council OK’s HOT fund distribution for 2014-2015 fiscal year

The Forney City Council, acting during their second regular meeting for August Tuesday evening, gave final approval to nine hotel/motel occupancy tax grants to be distributed for the 2014-2015 fiscal year. The Forney EDC Board of Directors discussed and recommended the allocations during their Aug. 14 meeting, but the allocations had to be ratified by the City Council before they could be distributed.
